We argue that cryptocurrencies are another payment method that will substitute intermediaries with cryptographic methods and should be embedded in the research areas of SIGeBIZ and SIGSEC. On this paper we suggest to treatment this downside through the use of the methods initially developed for the pc-aided evaluation for hardware and software techniques, specifically those based on the timed automata.
