== Contexte :==
|REX=TEST2== English version : == How can we prevent Energy Poverty situations for international students who join Université Grenoble Alpes for the first time? How can we share awareness on energy cost and energy comfort at the right time for their first accomodation? '''Context :'''This challenge has been proposed by chaire HOPE during the Summer School organized in June 2021 by CBH Graduate School, on University Grenoble Alpes Campus. The chaire HOPE is particularly interested in Energy Poverty of students because : • This subject is not explored, and there is a lack of observation about this phenomenon• Poverty of students is a worrying subject that the Covid crisis brought to light and aggravated. And it can cause heavy consequences.• Most of students rent housing in private sector. Tenants of private sector are particularly vulnerable to energy poverty, and it is particularly difficult to find solutions for them. It is a field that needs to be investigated. The chaire HOPE was motivated to propose to this summer school a subject dealing with preventing energy poverty situations for international students because : • She find interesting to make students work on a topic that concerns themselves. They have an appropriate expertise, a sensibility, and a network that is rich to address it. • Université Grenoble Alpes is an interessing site to explore the possible actions in that field because of the presence of a large students population (65 000 students) and an interesting ecosystem of actors.• International students car be particularly vunerable to bad surprises that can lead to energy poverty. Because it is more difficult to choose a housing when you are abroad, because they may not know French social system, and energy invoicing system, they can be surprised by French climate and French living cost…• International students may contribute to enrich our approach about these subjects, thants to there experience in their country where energy topics may be comprehended differently than in France. With solutions or approach that could be inspiring.• International students usually benefit from welcome measures to prepare and support their arrival at the campus. This may offer an opportunity to make prevention about subjects dealing with energy. '''Methodology :'''Two groups of 4 students have worked on this subject for one week. They have been coached by staff missionned by CBH Graduate School. '''Results :'''The solutions proposed by students are based on two principles : • Human connexion• Good timingFour key-moments are suggested :5. Prepare your arrival, with a fellow that is a student who is already based on the campus6. First day at the campus7. Find your ways8. Be nextThe solution is based on a collective of international students that volunteer to help incoming students with housing and energy bill. The first step is to prepare your arrival, with an online meeting to help find an apartement, a facebook group to link with the community and someone that is in charge of you. The second step is the first day on campus, where you receive a goodies bag with energy saving material from your mentor. Then, activities, exchanges will be favorised to help you share your experience. The last part is when you take part on the project, help another student next year thanks to training related to energy. Refer to the picture to discover a summary of the proposed solution.
