I was skeptical of men’s shoes because my feet aren’t wide - i just have toes that need room. I have wide feet and I wear the men’s version of the Scarpa Instinct Vs. Since instinct VS is a relatively stiff shoe, a not-so-perfect fit could mean very painful experience in the long run. I sized up a bit from my street shoe size, I think they run a bit small so you’d want to try them on to get the right size. The Evolv Kronos turned out to be perfect, but I was shocked that I had to size UP from my street shoe (and it’s nice and snug). I was hoping to find a shoe that fits better so I can get some more performance out of it.
