So, why fret? Schools are forcing parents to have their children vaccinated because of the odd prediction that every person will catch the bug during the fall season. What if people can not afford the vaccines? Are they supposed to drop dead?<br>Why the panic? Why is there so much panic about the H1N1 virus when the Center for Disease Control states that the group with the greatest risk for getting the H1N1 virus is those between the ages of 25-64 (24%), with death resulting from secondary infections 32% of the time? The incidence of H1N1 virus drastically drops after the age of 65, suggesting immunity against the virus. Another age group that tends to be pressured into getting flu shots is infants and toddlers. It is interesting to note that so far in this "pandemic " only 19% of children ages 0-4 have been diagnosed with H1N1 virus and only 3% of those died.<br>The appendix has quite a few different names including;cecal appendix, and vermiform appendix. These all mean the same thing and these other words are only really useful for medical professionals and human biologists. The appendix is normally around 10cm in length and it stays in the lower right hand side of the abdomen. When you have appendicitis symptoms the pain can be felt around the belly button and other parts of the abdomen. The area around the appendix will be very sore to the touch. Even though we are born with an appendix nobody really knows why it is there, and when it is removed the body shows no signs of missing it.<br>Water is another beneficial natural remedy. Ensure that you take a tall glass of water after every meal, in order to aid the sphincter in creating a tight seal on the stomach, thereby preventing the backflow of stomach acids into the esophagus. |
