Actress Amy Lindsay, who appeared in a Ted Cruz ad that was subsequently pulled once the campaign found about her nudey movie past, says she's not a 'porn' star. <br>Instead she calls her resume, which includes titles such as Sex Games Vegas, Bikini Airways and Radio Erotica, one filled with 'late-night steamy' films. <br>She was hoping to add a couple more Cruz ads to the fold as well. <br>Lindsay told KTRH's Matt Pavlick that she originally filmed six spots for the conservative Republican senator, according to the Houston Chronicle. <br>Scroll down for video  <br> Amy Lindsay (pictured) stars in the 'Conservatives Anonymous' ad that Ted Cruz's campaign dropped today<br> Ted Cruz dropped his new ad (pictured) on Thursday, titled 'Conservatives Anonymous' that accused Rubio of duping the Tea Party voters who carried him into office in 2010<br> Marco Rubio's name is not mentioned, but at the end of a commercial a man in a shirt bearing the Florida senator's campaign logo, above, comes in and asks: 'Do you guys have room for one more?'<br> Lindsay (pictured right in the ad) has starred in films including Milf, Sex Sent Me To The ER and Carnal Wishes<br> To comply with federal laws, the candidate must come on and and own the ad, which Ted Cruz did (above)<br>'I had been waiting for the ads to air since they were shot several months ago,' she said. <br>Lindsay had walked into an open casting call and nailed her lines, getting the part. <br>Cruz's press secretary Catherine Frazier said: 'The actress responded to an open casting call.<br><br>She passed her audition and got the job. <br>'Unfortunately, she was not vetted by the casting company. Had the campaign known of her full filmography, we obviously would not have let her appear in the ad. <br>'The campaign is taking the ad down and will replace it with a different commercial.'<br>The ad that was released showed Lindsay in a setting similar to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.<br>A group leader asked: 'Has anyone else here struggled with being lied to?' <br>A bald actor answered the question.  <br>'Well, I voted for a guy who was a tea party hero on the campaign trail and then he went to D.C.<br><br>and played patty-cake with Chuck Schumer and cut a deal on amnesty,' a disappointed voter reported. <br>'Maybe you should vote for more than just a pretty face next time,' Lindsay's character warns. <br>Then another man shows up at the door, sporting a Marco Rubio t-shirt. <br> A spokesman for Cruz insisted that if the campaign had known of the actress' full filmography, she would not have been cast in the role.<br><br>Pictured, a picture posted on Lindsay's Instagram page<br> Lindsay shared a selfie taken with prolific porn actor Ron Jeremy in January on Twitter<br>'Is there room for one more?' he asks. <br>That last line got comedian Bill Maher roaring on Friday, after the news broke that the Cruz campaign was taking down the ad. <br>Maher set the campaign spot to psychedelic music, commonly found in porn films. <br>Lindsay has done several interviews thanks to her new-found fame over the brouhaha.<br>She suggested today that pulling the ads actually made them, and her previous acting history, a bigger deal. <br>Talking to Inside Edition, she said she believed in the message of the ads. <br><br>'The things I said in the campaign I believe,' she said.<br><br>'I am a conservative person, fiscally.
